So I picked up this 2016 truck a few days ago and it has the Alpine system. I didn't know that there is supposed to be a sub under the rear seat until I started to look into why it sounds so flat and low quality. I found a replacement Alpine sub on ebay for $130 which I ordered. Is there anything else I need to make it work, or anything else I should look for? Pics from under my seats, looks like power for an aftermarket setup on the driver side, and what I'm hoping is the connection for the Alpine on the passenger side. 20230527_122033_HDR.jpg20230527_122044.jpg

Just to update this, nothing else was needed. The wiring harness was pushed into that little hole under the rear passenger seat. Took me like an hour to figure that out.

Was that still powered? Since there is wiring for a aftermarket amp I would be curious as to what wiring was cut or tapped.

Yeah I'm not sure exactly how the previous owner had it set up. My guess is that the red lines are power from the battery. Not sure how the signal was connected
