^^^Gas will be around but it will be very expensive.

Take your time, building them is a big part of the fun of owning them.

I’m the second owner, original owner bought it new. I bought it from him for $600 when it was 8 years old in 1977 (I was 17 years old then).
I have had the Chevelle for 44 years now. I repainted it in 1992.

I also have a 2008 Victory Jackpot premium, I have added some Custom touch’s to it

And it's got a Dodge engine, good for you! I've never cared for mixed brand anything. So glad you didn't put a three fiddy in it!

My love of Mopar trucks started with a 1999 4WD Dakota w/ 5.2L Magnum...

Yes that was my goal when i started, make it all Mopar. I also did not like the S10 350 swap builds, just didn't make sense to me.
Took me awhile to find a regular cab short bed V8 2wd to get close to the 41's wheel base. Had to push the engine back 6" and shorten the bed by 4" to get everything to fit. Has been a fun build with still a few more things to do. The wife really loves riding around in it. Don't see to many old 40's truck around anymore especially Dodge.
