What funky things does yours Ram do when its cold

Mine has a higher RPM until it warms up. Then it's fine.

In really cold weather I can hear the active grill shutter making noise while closing on the first start after setting all night

Get yourself a battery cable puller & cleaner... clean the battery posts & cables. Just in case there's a severe voltage drop when starting. Maybe a battery test like a Load Test & Cell test. Let's be 100% sure your battery is good. Basics first!

Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear is a jerking motion when cold.

My seat and steering wheel get too hot to handle or sit! Oh and the mirrors for some reason start melting ice on them. Very strange thing.

Idles on seven till warm then no issues .throws a P300 multiple misfire .not the wires or plugs .since i gutted the cat tries to lean at idle.but once warm no issues .id check your griunds..

My notchy steering feel is more pronounced when the truck is cold. The steering gear box is being replaced this week under warranty, so hopefully that will cure it.

When the temp is below about 30 degrees Fahrenheit the dash lights on my 2016 1500 Sport flicker on and off if I turn the brightness down. Crank the brightness up and they even out and work just fine. They only do it when its stupid cold. I checked every ground I could find and everything is tight. Haven't had time to look into it more than that though.

Other then making my Johnson shrink till it warms up :O
and a little lag in shifting for a couple minutes all is fine, Very minor lag in shifting...

This has been going on for almost 7 years. battery and alternator are good...
