What materials did you use I was thinking I'm doing this for mine

I started by making a foam piece shaped roughly like I wanted it and fine tuned it with sand paper until I got the fit I was happy with.
I then covered it in "packing tape" and then covered it with the epoxy resin and let cure.
Then I covered that in a thin layer of fiberglass resin and let that cure.
I then covered that with body filler/bondo and sanded it until smooth.
These are the stages it took.

Just made my headlights retrofit projectors. My headache rack got bent to **** so had to chop it up and re mount it. Adding some extra tie down locations.
