What is it worth

My dad has a 88 dodge ram charger 2wd with 250000 miles. Has a little rust on tailgate. Runs a drives fine. I can post picks later. But I can't find any pricing for it do to the age. Anyone have any ideas of what he may be able to get for it.

condition is a huge factor. to someone that doesn't know better the TBI may be a bit of a bonus but the 88-90 trucks suck since there are quite a few parts that are only available used and can be very hard to find. seen one that looked clean and had a 6bt, full roll cage and setup for racing and they were only asking $15k for it.

location may have an effect on price too. 4x4 are more sought after in California. similar trucks with 200,000 + miles have been going about 5-7000 around here. but that's with a pretty clean body and interior. Having said that, the local market for ramcharger is not great. I see more and more clean ones show up at pick and pull, dying a slow and painful death as scavengers pick them apart.
