What is the correct weight oil???

Since I’ve got both 5w20 and 5w30 available, I think I’ll do the 5w20 for winter and switch to 5w30 in the spring. I post any difference I find.

My 11 Ram I bought used with 35k miles on it. I always used Napa 5-20 "blend" and the napa gold filter and I changed both when the light on the dash said it was time and I never had any tick or other unusual noises. I traded that one in after putting 40k miles on it and it was still quiet. My new 21 Ram will get the same napa 5-20 blend and gold filter. The oil change intervals will still be dictated by the dashboard light.

Thats the right idea. I don't know why more people don't go up or down a grade to better fit the seasons.
