I've got 16,000 on my 21 Rebel, 3.92s, 5.7 hemi. Running 87 octane, if I baby it, avoid stop lights as best I can, and go really easy on the gas, I can get 16 to 16.5 MPG in town. On the Interstate it's about the same (@70 Mile per hour on very flat roads). I get the same mileage now as I did on Mile 1. There's been no increase in efficiency after some break in period. It is what it is.

I am only a few days into owning mine, but drove it 3 hrs back from the dealership and the truck said 13.5mpg doing 75mph. I didn't buy it for the mpg, but dang I hoped better than that. Reset yesterday and drove 60ish for 30-40 miles and swelled to an incredible 15.5mpg. Not impressive.
Use better oil. The stealership/oil change places use crappy oil, that hurts your mileage. Also, lay off the "Hemi fun Pedal". I consistently report (from the truck) even in the bitter cold we have here in the Carolina's over the last few days, and lots of remote start time, in the 16's on the truck (which is terrible for my 76.5k run so far). On paper, I usually am almost 17MPG, with the 5.7, 4x4, and the Toyo AT2/3 33". Long hauls get me up in the 18's-20's pretty reliably. If I can dodge the rush hour BS. But the cold is 100% hurting my mileage right now. I was running 17MPG (so low 16's in reality) on the truck before the cold snap hit. If your rebel is new to you, you might need to "break it in" a little, and also break your foot in a little. She's got the power, but you need the control! :D

You can ask this questions on Forums and Lord knows it gets asked often. Results are widely divergent based on terrain, driving style, weather and a host of other stuff. Fuelly may not be dead accurate but it sure does give you the range of results as well as the mid point against thousands of reports.

So.....I liked my wife's Rebel so much that I traded our old Nissan Armada for one yesterday.....
She got the Eco-Diesel and gets around 30 MPG on the highway.

They didn't have anymore Eco-Diesels. I wanted the "Fun Pedal," anyway!
I got the 5.7 without E-Tourque. No stopping and starting at every stop sign........

Last night, on the drive home from Dave Smith Dodge, top speed was 60 for a few minutes.
We had to drive back in 4 High in a snow storm over some mountain passes.
Bumper to bumper traffic in the city for about 35 minutes.
I still got 17.9 MPG.
I would have gotten 10 MPG in my Power Wagon.
CONGRATS ON THE (2) NEW RIDES !!!!!

Remember, the lie-O-meter is a lil generous. Great U got the VVT non E-Torque. now give it a lil time to break in, from my manual:

ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS
A long break-in period is not required for the engine and
drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle.
Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After
the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80
or 90 km/h) are desirable.
While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration within the
limits of local traffic laws contributes to a good break-in.
Wide-open throttle acceleration in low gear can be detrimental
and should be avoided.
The engine oil installed in the engine at the factory is a
high-quality energy conserving type lubricant. Oil changes
should be consistent with anticipated climate conditions
under which vehicle operations will occur. For the recommended
viscosity and quality grades, refer to “Fluids And
Lubricants” in “Technical Specifications”.
CAUTION!
Never use Non-Detergent Oil or Straight Mineral Oil
in the engine or damage may result.
NOTE: A new engine may consume some oil during its
first few thousand miles (kilometers) of operation. This
should be considered a normal part of the break-in and not
interpreted as a problem. Please check your oil level with
the engine oil indicator often during the break in period.
Add oil as required.
________________________________________

I would not run that many miles before "dumping" the break in oil. Not gonna start any discussion, not want the haters, but I would not go over 1,000 on initial, than after that Use a Good Quality Synthetic Oil and Full Synthetic Filter. There is a lot of info on Oil and Filter thread by BURLA. OP, suggest U read and make an informed decision. This last part IMHO only. (I also change every 5,000 miles and rotate tires also, but that is me).

2016 Rebel with 3.92 also. This looks like my mileage except when I'm towing my 3200 lb camper.....and then my mpg is closer to 10 or 11.
I have 92k miles on the truck, and the mpg has been pretty consistent.....nothing improves it except taking the foot off the skinny pedal (and "break in" did nothing). I'm meticulous with maintenance and run PUP oil.

I've had mine for 5 days now, filled up once. CC LWB Sport 4x4, 3.92s, 32gal tank with E-load stock sized tires, got 17.5 first tank (with some decent idle time) and my lie-o-meter was dead on the money. If it's to be believed, so far I'm at 18.8 on the current tank.
