Gonna put a leveling kit in. Which one do you recommend the Rough country 2.5 or the HBS 2.5 ???? Its for a 2012 ram 1500 crew cab. Looking to put 35s on after the leveling kit.

Most guys just put Bilstein 5100 shocks on if your just looking to level. They typically set them at 2.1", but some set them at 2.8" so they can fit a full 35" tire. At 2.1" you might have some slight rubbing with a 35", so most guys run ~34.5" tire with that setting. This way you can avoid a leveling kit.

bilsteins are considerably more expensive so not everybody goes that route.

to the original poster. I'm biased to HBS since that's what I have. Only 2" though

Another vote for HBS 2.5". And with your target tire size, you might need spacers.

ZONE is now offering a true level with UCA'S and Diff Drop Brackets to help keep everything inline without causing premature wear on components...

It's 520$. But you will get a better lift / level out of it I would imagine being the CV's are relocated back to OE specs.

I am putting on the rancho quick lifts. After looking at everything it looks like the best overall setup, however it is a couple hundred more to go this route. Then again, what is $200 when your putting it on a $40000 truck???

I'm going to be going with the RC 2.5. I like the lift overall, reputable company, and I have a friend who runs it in his 2013 RAM1500 and loves it. Says it handles great on and off road, which was my big concern seeing as how my vehicles see lots of beach driving.

Just my $0.02 here...and I wish I could put up some pics...but I put the Rough Country 3.75 leveling/body lift combo on my truck with the Toyo Open country 295/65/20 (35.1) and I complements all the time. I didn't need the 1.25 body lift to clear the tires...but it does make a difference.

I would like to see some pics of your setup. Your exact tires are on my short list. Do you not have any pics at the moment? Or not know how to post them? Make a profile on photobucket and load your pics there. Its free and easy. Then click on the picture and on the right side of the page will be a direct photo link. Insert that link in your post.

This is the Bilstiens 5100 @2.1 w/ 295/65/20 trail grapplers (35.4" tall), offset +1 fuel maverick

It only rubs the plastic wheel well at full lock due to the wheel well being push back. Passenger side is rub free at full lock.
