What look for in a buying a 08 Cummins

I’m gonna look at a 2008 dodge 2500 Laramie with the 6.7 it has 181,000 miles. The interior is really clean. Is there anything mechanical I should be looking for just by the pictures it has a sinister diesel egr delete I’m not sure about anything else

See if you can't get some service and recall history with the VIN through a Ram dealer.

If it has the EGR deleted then you'd want to know what program was installed to keep it from throwing codes on a daily basis.

Drive it and check the turbo performance. If there is a boost gauge in it, see where it goes at WOT.

Lastly, just give it a good overall inspection. There are some really good used vehicle checklists available online.
