Do none of these work on apple? Just no way I'm going with anything android or windows based, event cheap garbage tablets or devices aren't worth the money. Surprised nobody has anything for iPad or iPhone unless I'm missing it. All I see is jscan and alfa most of the time, any others?

Apple's software is proprietary and is installed on Apple devices. So, unless apple makes a professional scan tool (they don't) or starts making scan tools someday, or maybe starts letting 3rd party computers use their OS, then no, there are no scan tools running Apple's OS.

Pretty much all professional scan tools, and hence all shops who work on cars, will run Windows or Android. A scan tool manufacturer who doesn't develop their own OS has a couple of options. Apple's operation system is not one of them.

As for Apple phone apps that will work with a 3rd party dongle like the OBD Link MX+, a quick Google search shows:

But these aren't scan tools and are more limited in capabilities. For example, ForScan is great IF you have a Ford, not so much on a Ram.

There are also a few software options that will let you use an Apple computer, like IOS as a diagnostic tool.

@Ken226 I also understand the software side of things, what I'm curious about is why alfa doesn't simply make an iOS app version. Multiple apps exist as iOS and android, so I'm curious why they wouldn't make an official one and get that fake one booted off of apple's store.

I believe that the developer of AlfaOBD, Alexy, is a one man operation. It may be easier to develop apps for Android, or cheaper or something. I'm not sure.

Probably because of the Apple Tax that needs to be paid. Or maybe Alexi is an android / windows guy

You are only cheating yourself. There is nothing wrong with Android, and with a few differences, mostly in personality, an iOS work-alike. I have both Samsung and Apple phones. I also have a Samsung tablet and an iPad. As for phones, I prefer Android. likely because I have the Z-Fold. Tablets, I usually pick up the iPad, and likely because it is on a cellular data plan.

Nah, not cheating myself, I've used android, apple, windows, crackberry, and pretty much every other type out there, always go back to apple, just stable and less concern for all the hassles I had with android. I may pick up a cheap pawn shop tablet for alfa, have to see if it's worth it or not. something I can toss around the garage and not care how beat up it gets since it's android and just used for vehicle work.
