I haven't had any issues. Reception for sxm still goes out under large bridges just as it did with the stock antenna. Haven't driven in the mountains yet, but for me it's been the same as stock. I saved my stocker in case issues come up. For me it's a well spent ten bucks.

You must of got a special stubby antenna that does xm radio too. Since yours comes in so good. Go read some reviews on them most say reception is not good.

Indeed the reviews are bad, especially on amazon, that's why I didn't buy it from them for 17-25$. But for 10 bucks from my local autozone it was worth a shot. I personally have not had reception issues so I guess I'm lucky.
And as mentioned a few posts ago, I guess the xm antenna is seperate from regular antenna. I just used fm yesterday without issue.
