Looking at an 18 Power Wagon with leather, sunroof, remote start, no ram box. One owner. The asking price is 47995. I personally think that's a bit high. Got out of a 2022 recently and downgraded to an F150. The F150 is a great truck but it's no power wagon. I miss the hell out of my 18. I should have never sold it. Anyways, just looking for some opinions on pricing. Yes for anyone who has followed my truck buying/selling decisions.........they suck. Point taken.

Thanks everyone!

To go from an 8 speed to a 6 speed would be a no go for me…regardless of pricing or miles.

Get a 19 or up, IMO, the 8 speed is so much more better.

^^^ what he said. I had a 13 PW with 5.7/66rfe and 4.56 gears, 15 PW 6.4/66rfe and 4.10s. Now I have a 22 with the 8 speed. I always missed the 13 because of the lower gear ratio. It would blow away the 15 performance wise. Now that I have the 22 I will never go back to anything older than a 19. The 6 speed is that bad. I would advise keep what you have unless you can get another wagon with the 8 speed.

Everyone hates on the 6 speed. Maybe it's because I don't generally drive on the expressway that often, but I have had no issues with mine. Cruising on a rural highway I throw down around 17-18 mpg.

That said, that's about what blue book on these things is right now...last I checked anyway.

The 8 speed I didn’t care for. Shifted up too fast and my downshift into first was terrible. I’m also not a huge fan of the new body style. Agreed the 8 speed should be better but I didn’t have a great experience with it.

Maybe yours was busted, I don't know, but mine is smooth as silk and that's the general consensus. Head and shoulders better than the Ford 10 speed, IMO, slightly better than the GMC 10 speed (which is the same as the Ford, just programmed better). Whatever you get you'll only have to look at it for a couple months before you decide it was the wrong one and buy something else, so I wouldn't put too much thought into it. :D

Pretty good milage though. Still, can't see myself paying that much. Prices have gone ridiculously out of hand, and I believe to let them price gouging sellers sit on their merchandise. Arrogant dealers? Dealer markups? Let them sit and watch their inventory rot in front of their eyes. The paying customer has all the power, but unfortunately, we've been trained to be good consumers and that's all we are good for to the government.

I just can't justify spending so much on a truck, driving it so little and having two kids at home that need things. Time to be a bit less selfish till they are out of the house.
Your words...Eat 'em and enjoy. I'm not sure just how much cheaper you think getting into a used '18 is going to be, making the assumption you are financing it. The higher interest might put you right back where you were. Focus man....Focus. Screw the truck....Put the savings into the bank for the kids future.

Mine's a 21, tradesmen power wagon although nicely optioned. I only paid 57+ for mine, I can't see buying a 3-year-old one for 48...

That's why I'm out of the truck market right now. Between having to wait for whatever I order, plus the possibility of used values tanking, I'll sit on what I've got right now.

That said, my neighbor bought a 2012 chevy 2500 gasser with 100k on the clock for 30k last year...rust bubbles on the rear quarters and all. Used prices are absolutely insane and have been for a while.
