Turtle wax, because it was cheap and would get the job done until I researched more about waxes and detailing.

Killerwax. Been using it for about 4 years now. I get plenty of compliments when I go to car show. Even went to one in a parking garage and people were asking me how the hell I got my car to shine in the shade! LOL!

Griots Garage Liguid Gloss Poly Wax as a sealant and Adams Americana Paste over top. In between waxes I use griots Spray Wax while drying.

Rejex! It's a sealant not a wax. Lasts much longer. Been using it for about 5 years. Apply it twice a year. This is first paragraph explaining the product.

RejeX is commonly used as a paint sealant providing a high-performance alternative to conventional wax-based products to maximize protection and shine on vehicles of all sorts, including aircraft, cars, motorcycles, boats and RVs.

This very thin film, only tenths of a micron thick, reduces adhesion of all common contaminants such as road grime, exhaust, oil, bug splats, bird droppings, brake dust, tree sap, pollen, tar and grease. RejeX provides the best UV protection of any product of its kind. RejeX is even effective against the dreaded love bugs! It can also be applied to windshields (glass, Lexan, acrylic, etc.) to repel rain and make bugs splats easier to remove. RejeX produces a deep, lustrous shine that outlasts other "wax" products by months.

I recently started using the Rejex, I like it!
did a quick wash at the coin-operated wash and to dry it...I just drove it down the road, all the water just rolled off!

Usually once a year spring time my vehicles get washed with dawn dish soap and from there NU finish(great stuff for the price) and then followed with a wax mid summer. Usually do a clay bar after using the dawn dish soap as well.

Now I have been doing what is said above but after nu finish I use a sealent, best thing ever.

Note dont use dish soap all the time. Its used to strip any old wax and really is the best soap out there for a dirt and grime.

I saw a thread on the z forum about ceramic coating. Apparently it gets applied once and you never have to wax again. Anyone here used this on their truck?
