Looks like Datin Fab is not able to make a factory-like aftermarket underseat storage system for relining back seats right now. So I'm back to potentially getting the OEM setup. What's my best cost for a 5th Gen Laramie with reclining back seats?

Hi,

I only see a few components required for this, Here are links
The parts data calls for x8 of these bolts as well https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-hex-head-bolt-6508683aa

This is in black. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
-Benny

Yes. And I posted a lot in that thread. I really like the way yours makes better use of the space by being taller but not extending all the way out to the floor mat. Besides having to wait until Datin gets around to designing one to fit the reclining seats, theirs is not really tall enough nor does it extend out far enough. I would like it to extend forward but leave about a 2" inch gap to the floor mat making it just a little shorter than yours. I was hoping Benny might be able to get me a brother-in-law discount on the OEM version. But he's about 12% higher than some of the other Mopar sites and they offer free shipping as well. That still feels too expensive to me for what it is. But I appreciate his efforts and will check other items with him again. It's great having a Mopar parts guy on the inside with us. :)

Yeah I made mine 7" tall which gives it about a half an inch of clearance under the rear of the seat and approximately one inch at the front so it doesnt damage the underside of the seat when someone is sitting on it. It's about 2" from the floor mat and the seat still overlaps the box. Its still far enough under the seat where feet wont hit it. With the door open you only see a tiny bit of the corner but you actually have to look because the cover I used blends really well with the rest of the interior. For my $15 investment I could not be happier
