I brought my truck to have it aligned at my dealer today after I put my new wheel/tires on. I did a 2" lift a wile ago and had an alignment after that at the same dealer and it didnt fix it my issue. Is the alignment supposed to fix if the wheel is angled out(sorry for lack of better term)? Look at my pics the drivers side front is straight with the fender flair but the passenger tire is angled a 1" out. If this is supposed to be corrected under an alignment i'm going back Tuesday for an inspection and I will make them fix it.

I would rather not say because if it is fixable they would be good by it.

No prob. I just had the same issue with town fair tire. Lee in westbrook finally got it fixed and centered my steering wheel again

So does anybody know if that much positive camber(i looked up the correct term haha) should be corrected under an alignment?

It's really hard to tell by the pics but one tire should not have more camber than the other. When you go back ask for the alignment sheet when they re-do it. Unless you have something bent they should be able to make both sides even.

Edit: I also remember you have the air suspension. I'm not sure how it works but make sure its in the right alignment mode.

Ok thanks I will make sure I ask for it when I go back in. I made sure it was in the wheel alignment mode before I gave them the keys, and I explained that it had the air suspension and to double check to make sure it was still in it. I will try to go take a better pic too. I just don't know how they couldn't notice how much that side is out tho.. With my new wheels they are +1 offset so they should be almost flush and looking at the drivers side it is straight up and down and almost flush, and the passenger side is almost sticking 1" out with a positive camber.

Well I went and talked to the guy that did my alignment and it is true 0. d4dc1950763ef0e1b3e664ac4fca2044.jpg

But he was just as confused as I was on why that tire is sticking out more. We kept looking at each tire and both tires are aligned with the bumper but not with the body... It tracks true and we both looked and the tire does not have a positive camber like I thought.

If you were to look straight down the truck, how does it compare to the rear tire?

When I put my bils on I took it my truck to town fair tire. I had them align the front and had the same issue, only it was the drivers side. Also my steering wheel was all screwed up. All of their print outs showed that it was perfect. I brought it back a couple of months later because I was sure that it was messed up. Same thing, they said that it was all good but they tweaked it.

Went to get a sticker at Lee in westbrook several months later and they said that my tires were pretty badly worn around the outside. I had them do an alignment and fix my steering wheel. When they got done both front tires were dead on with rear tires.

I would point that out to them or take it to another shop. It'd suck to ruin those new tires. Not sure what part of Maine you're in. But if its southern Maine I'd talk to Josh at Lee in Westbrook and explain to him your situation. He's always been good to work with.

the front end is wider then the rear. your front tires are going to stick out more in comparison. every truck is like that. you cannot compare the front to the back and expect them to be the same or in line with each other.

Not sticking out further from the fender…. But not straight up and down, like the rear tire is. Does the top of the front tire stick out more than the bottom of the rear tire…

worst pic ever and a bit exaggerated. But this is how mine looked and it ate up my tires…. They Wont be perfect but if they're out an inch top to bottom I'd be worried

It is straight up and down compared to the rear tire. Like he said the front tires do sick out more but I still still don't know why just that tire is suck out that much. If I remember back to when I first lifted it that tire always looked flush compared to the drivers side but I always thought it was alignment. But what would cause just that tire to be stuck out more?

I thought that a situation like I had may have been the culprit. guess not though. Could be just more noticeable with the bigger tires?…
