A friend of mine has a 2010 Ram 1500 with a RC 6" lift and 37x12.50x20 Mickey Thompson tires. He's buying new rims and neither one of us know for sure what offset to get. The rims he's looking at are Fuel Mavericks and are 20x10. I've been searching all over this site, reading posts....but haven't found one matching this lift, wheel size, etc. Does anyone know offhand if a -24 offset would work without the tires rubbing the fenders or anything else?

Thanks!

Those should be fine. Might have slight rub/ minor trimming.

Ya...minor trimming if anything.

But there is a possibility of rubbing for sure.

Is there a different offset that would be better? Or, would it be better to go with 20x9 wheels?

Is he wanting the deep dish look?

Thanks for the response.

Yeah, the Mavericks are also available with a -12 offset, And, yes he's looking for the deep dish look.

There will still be some lip but not all that much.

I have 20x10 -24 offset on my 4" lift and I have no rub with 35x12.5 x20 tires like the others have said with the 37 might be slight rub.

I just ordered Fuel Throttle wheels 20x10 with -12 offset and pairing them with 37X12.50 Nitto tires

Backspace on mine are 5" , hoping they don't rub ?

Thanks! My buddy ordered them with the -24 offset. We'll see if there's any clearance issues. If there is....some minor trimming should fix it. He has 37's on there now with no rubbing, but he's not sure what the offset was on the old wheels.

What's your suspension setup? 6" RCX by itself? No Bilsteins?

They'll rub. He'll be trimming the plastic fender liner for sure and possibly the pinch weld as well. But the setup can definitely be made to fit with those couple modifications.

yes, RC 6" No Bilsteins, my Toyo R/T 37"s do not rub

but I have no idea what backspace or offset the current wheels are ?
Bought them used , had to buy some 1/2" or 3/4" spacers to get them on though ? forget which size

Tracking has them on my door step on Thursday

Your current setup likely has a positive offset even with the spacers which is why you aren't rubbing. With the 20x10 -12 offset you're going to be tight for sure. They may clear but I'd be prepared for a little bit of plastic trimming just in case.

Hello, you were able to put 37" tires on. 20x8 wheel ? What's your secret as I went to a shop and they told me the largest that I could do is 35"s on my 20x9 wheels.
