Wheel well tire gap question

Possibly getting rid of my at setup and going to a 305 50 20 street tire. I’m currently on cooper 275 60 20s. The 305 setup is an inch shorter at 32” so I’m wondering if the gap between the fender and tire will increase or decrease before pulling the trigger? Currently on a 2” rear level on a 4x4.

Smaller overall diameter will put your truck lower to the ground but there will be a larger wheel well gap.

Gap would be up and overall height would be down 1/2”, negligible to most eyes.
