Is the RK 56 still the top dog? I don't know if I have a mic either. Always good to have an external speaker too.

No it’s junk. I like the astatic and the ranger line. The ranger came with the General Lee.
Now I can’t decide which one to put in the General or the Galaxy 66???? Hmmmmm.

You have a Galaxy 66? I have a 66 Fairlane GT, I've had it since... Well let's just say a hot minute. 90k original miles, not young but not bad for her age.

Hey OP here's my take on wheeling my daily driver - it's a RAM, she's gonna break any way, (and I'm gonna fix it anyway) might as well be rip'n some trail or throw'n snow when happens.

I just hope that the douchebag trying to drive his Audi or Beamer in a foot of snow doesn't see me go catastrophic since I just blasted by him slightly askew with all four spinning, the roar of my hemi at 6000 rpm tearing away at his soul as I pump the throttle trying not to let the anti-slip control straighten the truck out for too long. My wife sitting there, white knuckled & speechless, yet I know as soon as she can talk, my soul is gonna get shredded, so I just keep the hemi screaming.
Whew, Be still my beating heart.....

Like I was saying, as long as she don't break right then, I keep her high on the pedastal. She never lets me down, but she has broke.

    Just don't do this:

Unless you're driving a Super Duty (or an Audi), then - oh yeah! Lol

I dont need 4wd very often but I do occasionally need it and so I always buy 4wd when getting a new truck.

for that we use a cpl. frs walkie-talkies. I toss one in the console and she takes one out and becomes a spotter when I am backing our travel trailer in. that way the whole neighborhood doesnt have to hear us hollering back and forth.

I too carry a pair of those. I put in the cb for those times when ya might get separated from the group or no cell service.
