They told me orders are currently taking just over 4 weeks to deliver. He wanted to get me in line if I was in a hurry. I'm not.

I'm sending my build sheet out for quotes this morning So depending on when I get a price that I'm happy with, I should be able to order shortly.

I went to order new 2500 and was told auto level rear suspension is currently unavailable. Anybody else heard the same thing or know when it will become available? Thanks.

I haven't heard that. I ordered my new 2020 2500 in mid-November with that option. Still expecting delivery in January.

Can anyone tell me what size socket I'll need for the lug nuts? Also opinions on 6 point vs 12?

Just so you all know there was an order delay on all trucks coming from Mexico, (all 2500s +) due to order volume. Hopefully they sorted this out but you may be waiting longer than the 6-8 weeks.

Not to mention the hold on the 68RFE’s. Anyone that didn’t order a 3500 w/ the Aisin trans won’t be seeing anything for a while.

My dad is looking for a new truck in FL today, they had 30 2500 Cummins on the lot, can’t sell a one of them.

6.7L Cummins HO Turbo Diesel, Aisin 6-speed, so not impacted by the safety recall. 3500s assembled in Michigan so not impacted by delay on trucks coming from Mexico. thanks.

Got my build sheet today. Factory listed as Saltillo [emoji45] so I may be affected by this delay even though I have a 3500 coming.

You ordered the Aisin transmission so you should be ok.

I've understood there are two potential problems in Mexico... 1) orders parked waiting for a fix for the issue with the 68RFE transmission fluid issue, and, 2) bottlenecks/delays due to capacity/order volume.

Today I'm marked safe from the 68RFE issue but not necessarily the capacity issue. Maybe the trucks with the Aisin transmission will be first in line for the train with the 68RFE trucks parked. Maybe there won't be enough trucks with the Aisin transmission to roll the train... Who knows. Nothing I can do about it.

Yeah, that’s my attitude, too. I was supposed to have my 2500 by now, but I would rather have a truck that won’t catch on fire.

Any of you willing to post what you're paying vs MSRP based on your orders (2019 or 2020)? Curious about what type of discounts you were guaranteed, if any. The 2019s had pretty decent dealer discounts for those trucks on lots, some close to $8k or so. I'm one of those waiting to take a 2019 off the lot but the 68RFE is holding that up. In my case, MSRP was approx $70k and my final purchase price was roughly $60k and some change. $9k savings.

Love to cancel my down payment and order one but I doubt the discounts will be there by the time it arrives.

I ordered through the Costco auto program. Invoice minus $1,000 minus incentives plus tax, title and license.

@Steve Karolek I looked into the trucks and where they are made, in the past it was mentioned that WTAP would be making the larger body styles but all they got was the 1500 Classic. All other 1500 models are made at SHAP and the big boys are made in Mexico. I hope the bottle neck clears up for you quicker than you expect. We all deserve new trucks in a timely manner.

I just ordered a Ram 2500 Longhorn Diesel MSRP 62,335. Paid 1% under invoice at 57,657 using my FCA Affiliate Rewards program. I know I probably won't see it until late April or early May.....But..... past experience shows that is a good time for rebates to be offered by the auto companies in general.

Just ordered my 2020 3500 Laramie (68RFE), hoping for late April - mid May delivery. No deals, just invoice price which sucks given the discounts for the 2019 trks.
