Installing my airlift 5000 and 25980ez compressor tomorrow. From reviews it seems the failures are due to water so I’m looking at best place to install ..

currently I’m thiNking in the bed of the truck that has a cover.. that will protect its from rain/splash..

it’s tiny ish so I don’t expect it to get beat up back there.. I could always create a barrier over it too ..

Behind the back seat. Enough room for the compressor and a 1.5 gallon tank.

I have a Leer Shell so I put the compressor, etc on the driver side bed sidewall. It's been there since 2016 and never been hit or in the way.

I’ve got a bakflip cover with a bakflip bed box. I’m looking at installing the compressor in the box and the tank underneath the box

That would be my choice. Id like them both under the bed.

like inside the cab?

Yes. Driver side behind the back seat. I’ve had two different ones that fit. One had the compressor on top of the tank. Now I have tank and compressor mounted to the floor.

On my 2017, I had it pretty much under the rear door on the driver’s side. I just got a 3500 so I took it off and will keep it if I need it for the future...

Isn't that noisy?

Here's my Air Lift WirelessOne Compressor location on the bed sidewall.
Driver side between wheel well and tailgate.
It serves my Timber Grove Air Bags.

I like this idea. I've been looking at the wireless 1 for my 1000s, do you have any other pics of the install? Very interested in this because I have a toneau cover that keeps my bed dry so I would really like to install it here.

I have a 2010 RAM 3500 Crew Cab DRW. I mounted my compressor inside the footwell storage compartment behind the passenger seat. I removed the plastic storage container and lined the inside with DynaMat and then reinstalled the storage container. I then lined the lid with DynaMat too. I ran the lines into the rear side of the storage bin and installed weatherproof grommets so the storage bin and compressor would stay dry.
