I'm going service the transmission on my 2014 Ram 1500. Who has the best price on oil and the filter/pan assembly. I'm in Canada, but I'm willing to buy in the states, as I'll be making a trip south next week.

    Thanks!

Check with Benny from Mopar Parts--they are a vendor on this site.

i went with redline fluid and the atp pan/filter. got the redline through @[email protected] (vendor on here) and pan on rockauto. i had no issues since the service. atp pan has replaceable filter so if you decide down the road, you can replace just the filter.

one piece of advice: measure your clearance between exhaust and pan. i struggled mightily getting the stock pan off. literally no room and the exhaust doesnt move much there. i actually broke off little plastic pieces on the valve body getting it off. atp pan cleared no problem going on as it is a little shallower (not enough to matter). watching videos on youtube made it look easy and no issues. but my truck was a little different.

Hey 16, what was your mileage when you did the change, what did your fluid look like, and did you level the pan as recommended? Getting ready to do mine with the OEM filter\pan and Redline D6 fluid....

If you are out of warranty I would look at the aftermarket fluid that is only $12/qt. Quantum Blue fluid. I believe BND sells the pan kit as well. Watch out for knock off pans.

my truck had around 68k miles. fluid was actually decent. not much debris in it. no idea of its history. didnt smell burnt at all. yes i did raise the rear end. i parked nose down on a slight incline in driveway and jacked the rear end about 10" to level the trans.
