I just bought an AlfaOBD license & a bypass module so I can add the GXM code & turn on the keyless entry function. I have power locks & windows, but want to make double sure I have the keyless module & antennae already installed. Can anyone tell me where the heck it's located??

Thanks!

Cool.. thanks! I've got a lighted borescope.. I'll use that to peak around back there. I just need to verify it's there or not.

behind the drivers side rear seat, you may notice a vent

just inboard from that vent, there is a RF Hub

In the video below, at the 3:30 minute point, he pull down a flap, where he keeps his AR
You will see the vent & right behind the ARs handle or grip, you should see what i believe your looking for

Ok... yeah, looks like there is an insulation pad covering it. Looks like I'm going to take the seat out. Horrible place to store an AR... would be a pita to get to in a hurry.

While you are taking it out you can do the backseat mod so your backseat folds down easily. Their are 2 ways to do it. I made spacers and raised the seat. Some cut the hooks. I believe it’s in the diy section

do you only have sentry keys (key blades) currently? what year and model?

I only had sentry keys and got a cheap remote fob from amazon. programmed baseline keyfobik first so the key would start truck but lock/unlock buttons didn't work.

further research found that I needed to enable RKE under body computer configuration. Can't Find GXM.

After enable RKE, then go in to RF hub, and reset for it to take the RKE config from the Body computer, my lock/unlock buttons started to work after about 10 min.

so.. advise, enable RKE first, reset rf hub, then program your fobik

I think that is a sentry key... I didn't know that's what it is called, but it's what I have.
yup.. that's the Sentry key as per my build sheet.

were you able to remote lock/unload working?

I'm thinking that that Rf hub is the issue in my truck as it shutters the locks every time I try to lock it. Sometimes it works after a few tries and sometimes I have to manually press the lock down. Then they work properly until the truck is started again and I have to repeat the cycle to lock it again.. May have to order one and try it. After 3 years plus and 11 dealer visits I'm at the fix it myself stage even though it's under warranty. Doesn't seem like any of the techs that have had it are terribly good at troubleshooting this thing so far. I guess I'll start by pulling the seat and cover to see if there's anything obvious and go from there.

When you say manually pushing the lock down, are you talk about the stem on the door? or the lock button on the door? If the button on the door will cause the shuttering then the problem isn't with the RF hub.

The actual stem. The lock button and the fob make it do the stem jumps up and down thing. Once I can get it to lock once then it will unlock and lock perfect as many times as I like until I start the truck again. Then it's back to dancing locks.I know from when I sleep in the truck that the truck doesn't like locking with me in it and after I lock it I have to get out and walk a good 20' or more away before it let's me start the truck. It will say fob not recognized or something of that nature until then. Seems to disable the key when you lock it inside.
