Where to find paint code? 98 1500.

All I want to do is get a premixed spray can to fix a dent on the cab corner,but I don't know where it is.Thanks

I believe it will be located on a sticker located on the drive side door frame. The same sticker that contains the correct tire pressure and size for the truck and also the build month and year of the vehicle as well as the manufacturing location.

In most cases you can go to the touch-up paint area of an auto parts store. There's usually a book to look up the make/model/year of your vehicle and match it with the proper paint. The issue I've always had with my older trucks is that your paint is weathered so the touch-up paint might not match exactly.

Ok thanks for the replies. I found the paint code , its on the sticker on the bottom side of the hood.
