Please guide me to inexpensive black lug nuts for stock black wheels. Don’t want painted where paint will chip off with impact wrench. Nothing special. I need 20. Thank you

I thought gorilla was the brand of choice for aftermarket lug nuts. They are more expensive than other brands. I don't know if the finish is better or it's better quality metal used. Considering these hold your wheels on, I wouldn't buy based on price alone.

I bought these in 2017 for my white bighorn stock wheels. Swapped to sport wheels and installed these on those wheels. Traded truck for a classic and installed wheels and lugs on it. Been since fall of 17 and probably 50k miles and still look good.

Spend the 10 bucks on this socket...your lugs will thank you!!

Hmmm, must depend on where you are and how you treat em for Venom to rust in no time as mine are still good
Opinions abound...
Good luck Pezrock

"CHEAP" isn't always the best route to go...... especially with something like lug nuts that keep your wheels on the truck while driving....... Thoughts or flame away?

I'd invest in that non-marring socket. I had black lugs on my prior RAM (Procomp wheels) and they used a special socket just for them (it wasn't non-marring). But you should know that even if they aren't painted they will eventually rust from being installed/removed with an impact gun. It was surface rust but it annoyed me - the rusty orange color would stick out against the all black wheels. I started seeing it in about a year after the initial install and one tire rotation. I called Procomp and they said they typically don't warranty the lugs based on this but they did the right thing and sent a replacement set (I sent them a picture and it looked horrible). From that point on I always used a hand lug-wrench but the State Inspection or any other shop doesn't, so I'm sure it would've happened again eventually. I traded the truck since then so can't answer for the second set.

When I recently got my tires put on at Discount Tire I asked them about lugs and they had some in stock. I have the satin black sport wheels on mine and I love them. You need a special socket though, but it came with it. I'd check with Discount Tire, if you have one close to you, and ask them. If they don't have any in stock they definitely can point you in the right direction or order them. They also price match too. I'm not sure if they price match Amazon though.

Based on this thread and the fact my Ram is a lease I wasn’t positioned to spend >$45 on lug nuts. I read up on the suggestions most of you guys sent me and in the end became fearful of the old you get what you pay for. I’m in the Northeast and rust can be an issue here quickly. So I went with black vinyl lug nut caps from Amazon. Not 100% what I wanted but I figured for $28 let’s see. I’ll post a photo after install. If I don’t like them, I will return and reassess with something you guys suggested. Thank you all.

These are not in stock currently and you do not want them...the gloss black wore off in no time and now they look like crap.d3ba0de96e59f949fc7e96663a2f907c.jpg
