Yea, you definitely have to do the Line-X for that price!! I was quoted $600 for the basic and $700 for the higher level. I ended up having it sprayed with GatorHyde for $350.

I was originally wrong about the $350 price when I first posted....I went back thru the email and they quoted me $325. So I'm definitely gonna have to jump on it.

I was leaning towards the monstaliner out of those two. Maybe I'll get crafty and find something to monsta-line.

Maybe there is a reason they install so cheap and much lower than other places.

What is Gatorhyde?

I was quoted $425 at another shop for the line-x. Maybe it's just the pricing here in az? Idk. I'm not complaining. Lol

Don't do it, you will get addicted to it. I get the quarts and have a million ideas around here. I haven't done the colors yet, but it is a matter of time before I try those.

I was going to do my grill in red only to figure out I have the honeycomb style instead of cross bars.

I am going to dip my grill and see the life I get from that. I dipped my tubes and they got wrecked in a week, so they getting monsta'd. I will dip most anything, if it fails fast then just monsta it, kind of my MO.

I had the red plasti-dip one click away from ordering it, but everything I have ever done with that stuff has peeled off so I checked into a quart of monstaliner. $14 for plasti-dip or $45 for monstaliner that should last forever so that is the route I was going to go.

Definitely report back after you get the Line-X done because that's an insane price.

I'll put some pics up when it's done. I was gonna be content with the diy so I'm sure I'll be more than happy with a line-x job.

I considered a hard shell bedliner and the sprayed-in type. But I've used the Bedrug in two Rams now and I'm quite pleased with the durability and especially the appearance. They are comfortable to walk and even lie on. Items slide in and out very easy. Very easy to install and can be removed fairly quickly.

Every truck I inspected with a sprayed-in liner showed varying signs of chalkiness and imbedded dirt, spoiling the looks considerably.

The only issue with the Bedrug is the small strip of material that connects between the tailgate piece and the floor piece. In freezing weather you cannot get the tailgate open. I learned on my first truck and now cut that section out so they're not connected.

Dusty

That's an awesome price... Where at in AZ? I'm just outside of Phoenix in Tolleson. I might have to check that shop out in the near future. [emoji3]

Also just some FYI.. for that price I would absolutely make sure you get the normal lifetime line-x warranty in writing. Being the price is so good, I feel they are selling it as line-x and it may be something else, or it is the deal of a lifetime, either way make sure you get some kind of in writing warranty to cover your ass if it starts to peel up. KEEP ALL your paperwork too.

Like others and I have stated its almost odd its so cheap. However I would just ask about the warranty not the price cause if its a mix up then you kind of just sandbagged yourself lol
