I want to go ahead and start my engine mods with a better sound. I want to replace the stock muffler, but need some help choosing the right one for me. I hate trial and error. Cost too much.
Here is what I am looking for (in order of importance):

    1. Low to no sound level in the cab. If it rumbles at acceleration, then goes close to stock when speed is leveled out, that is great.
    2. Deep low tone. No tinny sounds. Just like you would expect from a sub-woofer.
    3. Long lasting durability. Nothing that will rust out in a year.
    4. Clean looking install. I don't like the U-bolt type clamps. Rather have the bands.

It can be a muffler, resonator, or resonator tip. Can you help me?

    Thanks,
    Dooner

    Thank you for the info.

Just like my other post, I see that I tried to put the wrong duck ahead of the others. I didn't know just changing the stock muffler would not make it any louder because of the DPF.

OK duck, get your ass back at the end of the row!
