Who has Color Matched Tail Lights? Show Em!

Id like to see how many people have done this and if anyone has done anything besides PXR?(I know they guy with the pumpkin truck had blue before(sorry im at a loss for you name)).

Well here is mine, im sure you have all seen it since im a horrible pic *****.

Soon buddy........I'll have some non PXR ones on my truck. Painter's had them for 2 months......he's been a little busy to work on my stuff though.

very light coat......or in this case a few - he wanted 'em DARK!

Black covers well, gotta remember that!

Its actually not that bad at all. I started with already black LED tails so the tint has less to fight with.

What JJ is saying by "light coat" is the painter actually cuts normal automotive paint with a ton more paint thinner(clear) so it becomes more and more transparent while still retaining the OEM color. Then when you spray it the more coats you add the darker the tint becomes. Then they put clear coat over it like normal, cut, buff/polish and they are good to go. Works great and JJ is they guy to get it done for you. Both my tails and my headlights reflectors are color match tinted.

I've considered getting my tails painted white. I just don't know how that'd look, can't imagine it, and can't find an example..

id think great if you started with a clear, chrome, or black, LED tail lights. Dont know how much the OEM red would effect the orange. Bad freakin ass if its pulled off!!!! I think a DT member may have done it??

are they being done over OEM red tails? I think thats what would screw most other colors up.
