How do you like that 8 speed transmission so far?

I am not Sandevino, but I do have a 2500 with the 8 speed. It’s awesome. Shifts are firm and smooth and it’s always in the right gear. The closer gear spacing really allows it to stay in the power band an the programming is spot on. What’s really nice is at low speeds it holds a gear almost like a manual.

2014 with 95K and sitting (I'm in Maui waiting out the Corona :)) but the 6.4 has been awesome - can't wait to get home. Tranny, not so much with 2 rebuilds - 36K and 90K

I'm not in the game for this one. 13,500. Miles on my 2017.

Running good though, no real issues except for a coolant smell I can smell coming from the right upper corner of the grille and the occasional transmission quirks.

It's been a good truck so far with the exception of the drag link recall debacle which is FCAs doing.

I rebuilt mine at 90,000. I'd love to get another 100,000 miles out of the truck with no major failures, or at least have the truck paid off.

2015 6.4 82,000 miles. I just had it in for a dead O2 sensor and slight off idle misfire. I still noticed the misfire once though.

The O2 was probably still being burned in. Of it doesn't come back then that's all it was for the misfire once.

I got no dog in this fight but, I hope to one day. As of 5/24/20 I'm the owner of a 2018 2500 6.4L 4x4. Had 9700mi at time of purchase, and looking to keep it around well past the 200k mark.

Some guy on this board has 620,000 miles on the clock. Unfreaking believable for a 6.4

I got my 2019 in January and just passed 4k miles. Covid has put a damper on the miles I normally drive. The 8HP75 has done wonders for the feel of the truck, it tows my camper well, which was a big concern I read about on the 6 speed 6.4's. I hope to keep her around for a while.

That's incredible! Heaviest trailer I'll pull is an aluminum stock trailer with maybe 3 horses in it, and it won't be often. So hopefully I'll have mine around at least half that mileage.

A year or two late to this one lol. I’m new here. Just joined. But mines a 2017 reg cab 6.4 hemi DRW 4x4 with 66rfe and 4.10 rearend. Originally a regular 3500 8’ box, not a cab and chassis. Although now I’m runnin it cab and chassis.

Originally bought it brand new with 8 miles on it (and I put 6 of those test driving it).

From the day I bought it, it’s had atleast 4-6k on the ass end of it. Was my rig truck for first 3 years. (Imma pipeline welder by trade).

93k lifter failure. Extremely high idle hours mind you from sleepin/sittin in the truck on the Right of Way.

Brand new long block courtesy of FCA. 127k radiator was clogged. Brand new radiator, hoses, and all that. I paid this time lol.

When ole “Brandon” got in the whitehouse, bottom fell out of the ****** oilfield. (You’d think with gas/diesel prices the way they are, we’d be wide open right? Not when all that money is going to OPEC and overseas. Good job Brandon) anyway, I started my own hotshot company. Dropped my welding bed. Went back to stock everythin. And currently runnin it cab and chassis as my hotshot rig since 2020.

Started 2021 with 127k on it. Currently at 209k and will easily be at 227-230k by Christmas. 100k in a 12 month time frame. Not bad for the ole 6.4. All miles since I went cab and chasis and started my hotshot business have been strictly towing. The wheels on this ***** don’t turn unless my goose is hooked to it now. I have a jeep for my runnin round and **** while I’m at the house. Only other issues have been I replaced the starter. That’s it. Stock everythin else. 5k oil changes religiously. Since the new engine I run redline 5-30 with Mobil 1 m1-113a filters. Air filter change every other oil change. 7-8k miles a month.

That's a real work truck. I am also involved with the oil and gas business.

Now at 154k on my 2015. No engine or trans work that I know of. Just the typical exhaust manifold bolts and thermostat. Bought it used so don’t know the full history but I do know it feels as strong as if it were new. Would never know it has the miles it does. Just change the fluids and regular maintenance on these trucks and it will serve you well.
