That is how we took out our front porch, worked like a charm. We thought we would have to pull out each post separate, but because it was attached to each board so well the entire thing came off with the gas pedal. I really wished we woulda videod that.

Glad you guys got a chuckle out of this. I do have a problem with my shoulder right now so I wanted to do as little physical work as possible. And there is a fence on the other side of the driveway right next to it so it will be tight trying to clear everything. Making the mailbox removable should give me some room forFoote new 37' th . I can even go over the lawn if I have to. My only worry is hitting the cab. No slider . I bought the Anderson ultimate hitch for light weight and being able to remove it easily. I'll see how it goes tomorrow. If I have to I'll add a side winder or something.

I can't wait to see a pic of it all hooked up! A lot of the fifth wheels seem to be shorter across the front than goose necks. I have seen first hand what a goose neck can do to a short bed ..... Blown out rear window and dented bed (neighbour of ours that's a idiot) if you pay attention shouldn't have to many issues, hopefully you won't need the slider.

I missed the "tug-o-war" part of the break-in procedure in my manual :roflsquared:

I love seeing deisels hook up to utility poles thinking that they can pull them over.. " that pole is minimum 4 feet in the ground".. it's always entertaining lol

I work in utilities for the city, and this past winter I had to head to a scene where a 2500 cummins lost his loaded dump trailer (didn't pin the pintle) and the trailer hopped a curb, hit a hydro pole, broke it off flush with the ground, and most impressively, also snapped it clean off just below the first utility cable. Then that pole segment laid right across the dump trailer and stayed there.. looked like he could have hauled it away lol. Didn't even disrupt utility service. There was just a pole segment hanging precariously by the wires...
