ah, the irony.
They do, I used it to patch a small gouge in the factory liner on my tailgate. Worked great.
doesn't look bad to me and I really wouldn't worry about it. but if you're concerned you could always have line-x take a look at it and see what they think or even just call them. My line-x guy is GREAT and would probably touch it up for me and Id throw him $20-$30 bucks for his trouble...
After just over a week of owning a new to me 2011 Ram 1500 SLT, pulling out of my driveway I hit a palm tree crushing the drivers front fender, breaking the headlight housing mounts and denting the chrome bumper.
Nobody seems to have asked. Is it the "factory" liner? If so, ask the dealer where you purchased. Because it is "factory", it is covered with factory warranty. They may have a solution that warranty will cover. And if it is, and you try other chemicals, etc and damage it, they won't cover it down the road if something else happens. I have this on mine, and while not a complete necessity for the deal, it saved me having to pay to have it sprayed in later, and one warranty covers truck, and liner. May be worth a call to the service department. Worst they can do is tell you to pound sand. Lol. Good luck and let us know the end result
