I have a 2009 ram 1500, I run a lawn care business and tow 1-2 times a week. I’m curious if they’re any downsides, and if I should level my truck or not.

Yes and n o.
No, in teh sense that the springs will behave as they did before the kit, assuming you leave the springs OEM

Yes, in that with the truck now level, any lowering of the rear of the truck, due to weiight add, is going to be far more noticeable, affect headlight aiming spots and other things.

ANother thing to be aware of, the design of the trucks is to minimize the rake, so leveling tends to produce a squating appearing truck..

Best to leave some rake, most tend to elvel and add one inch rear specaer or level with an inch of rake so truck appears to be elvel, even though it is not. the one inch also helps when adding small trailers os light loads in the bed, as regards headlights and squating
