Running a 15 8.4 in my 18 because of the crap over the air uaq update. Anyway I have full travel hot to cold on the blend door actuator. But on the display it's not a smooth transition is goes like normal then jumps to full all at once.I know some that have used uaq's in older vehicles theIrs did this and swapping out to a 18 module fixed it.was wondering if the reverse would work for me.but I thought i read about 18's having a different variable speed ac compressor or was that the difference between 2500 up trucks and 1500's.I don'the won't to screw my compressor up.

Well the older module worked with the older radio as I suspected. So far so good on the compressor.

* 14-18 ram 1500's have a variable displacement compressor (typ. associated with the 7 speed fan)
>> 14-17's = 68268186Ax HVAC module
>> 18's = 68366552AA HVAC module

* 13-18 ram 2500/3500's (& 13 Ram1500) have a fixed displacement compressor (typ. associated with the 4 speed fan)
>> 14-17's = 68105017Ax HVAC module
>> 18's = 68366553AA HVAC module

& Need to match the HVAC module to the 8.4 radio year.

M² Mods.
