Will JScan allow DRL always-on configuration on 1500DS

I would like to set my Daytime Running Lights to ALWAYS ON. I'm looking for an alternative to AlfaOBD, since it only works on Windoze and Android and, as a security professional, I won't use either, since they are both virus magnets. So, I ran across JScan, on the Apple AppStore, that looks like it may do what I want, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone successfully modified the operation of the DRL on a 2018 1500 DS?

Also, JScan talks about a security bypass adaptor. What is it, what does is do, and where do I get one?

The only OBD device that I have ever used is a box that I plugged into motorhomes, to diagnose problems. So any help would be appreciated.

Old post, but I just ordered a security cable and plan on shifting my day time running lights to the fog lights. Should come in the mail tomorrow so I’ll see how jscan works. It worked good for my Jeep jk
