Hello everyone, I’m looking for window deflectors for my 2020 sport. I’m not sure what ones are good or that will look good with my grey/silver truck

I like the Auto Vent Shade tape on. I had tried the WeatherTech in channel on a previous vehicle but took them off because the windows did not close all the way. I replaced them with the AVS and stayed with AVS when I got the Ram. I bought them direct from AVS. I think they were $60 to $70. A lot cheaper than WeatherTech and I like them better.

I have matte black AVS in-channel ready to install sitting in storage. I didn't like how close they sit, I wanted more overhang to keep rain out of the open window. I'm willing to package and ship em to you if you cover the postage. Pm me to discuss possible hand to hand exchange.

I initially got the Weather Tec in-channel front ones only. They fit well and won't come loose. Windows close fine. I didn't get the rear ones at first because on a previous car, the rear ones slipped in and if you opened the window, they could be pulled down and fall off. In fact my son borrowed the car for a trip and when I got it back one of the rear ones was missing. One of his buddies opened the rear window at speed and the thing fell off. Later though, I found out that the new ones now have a mechanism on the back ones that keeps them in place so they don't fall out. Must have been a common problems with the older ones a few years ago. Anyway, they all fit well and no issues with windows not closing, etc. I think they look better than the stick-on ones but that's MHO.

Some may like the tape on deflectors but I do not. Nothing wrong with their functionality only the tape is a PITA to remove. I cracked the driver window piece and couldn’t get just one matching replacement so I had to remove all four and go with a different brand. The attachment tape was awful to remove. Tried heat, solvents and one of those drill attachment wheels. I was left with scratches on black paint and compounding and polish didn’t remove all the paint damage. I’ll go with in channel type next time.

OK, not being into anything additional for my vehicles that isn't functional, what is the purpose of window deflectors? DA67Goatman said, "I wanted more overhang to keep rain out of the open window." I don't know about anyone else, but when it's raining I keep my windows closed.

I don’t care for them but, depending on your height they help a bit if the sun is coming in and blinding you as you’re driving north or south. Between the bright sun and the broken tree lines you get a blinking sun poking you in the eyes.
Of course that all depends on time of day and how tall you are, and then it only helps for a short time frame. My wife likes them for who knows why or I’d pull them off. It came on mine when I bought it.
When it rains and you smoke cigarettes or whatever you can crack the window and pull the smoke out.

I use mine to have the windows cracked when it's raining and cracked to let the air circulate inside the cab on a hot day without being too obvious to others. They also keep the wind noise to a minimum going down the interstate with them cracked. I prefer fresh air over AC.

I got the putco in channel visors. No issues with them coming loose. They do occasionally interfere with the automatic windows going up, but small potatoes. ‍♂️

Just replaced one of my deflectors that our high energy German Shepherd broke when we passed another dog the other day. Originally came on the truck when new in 2013 as a dealer installed option. They are EGR from https://egrusa.com Had to buy a whole new set, however, for $80. I like them okay and haven't had any problems with window up/down interference. Easy to install.

I had good results with the Goodyear deflectors. Really flexible, seem strong, and a good bit cheaper than the weathertechs. We'll see how they stand up to the test of time but I'm happy with them so far.

I run AVS in-channel in both Rams and the kids '21 Charger.

I originally started with the AVS stick on ones for the front and rear of my crew cab.

Although it looked okay I still wasn't totally feeling the look overall nor the full functionality either. In heavy rain with the windows cracked I still got water trickling in.

I then went to the in-channel WeatherTech ones and the fit and finish are exactly where it's at for me (personally).

I've had zero issues with any window closing/sealing, even in extreme Ontario climates. Nor any noise issues either.

I also really like the way they go right down to the bottom of the window and offer a deflector there as opposed to just a normal one that only follows the top edge of the window.

My are normally closed when it’s raining but it’s difficult to order at the drive through with it closed. Even more difficult to pay and accept the food.

Hello all,
I installed the AVS in channel and the rears are bowed inward.
Not happy but I haven't been able to adjust the bow out, literally.

My next step is to remove the rears, heat them to remove the bow, maybe permanent, and try a reinstall.
Anybody have any ideas ?

Thanks

p.s. I have had no problems with the windows opening or closing, just the bowing.
