I just got my windshield tinted (yes I know some people don’t like it) and I was looking at the outside and was wondering if this was all normal? I’ve never really looked so I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to be or if it was like this before the tint and I just noticed now. Regardless, could this have an affect on anything under the trims? It is a 2014 so it might just also be the years of desert sun getting to it.

My 2017 looks the same. I've used some black trim protectant and it helped. RAM just used some cheap plastic.

My 2014 has looked like that since I first noticed it at approximately 6 months old. It still looks the same. South Florida sun?
