Doing some searching here, and I haven't found anything in regards to this, but I swear someone said something about it.

Anyway, my low windshield washer fluid indicator light came on. It's topped off, but the light still on.

I have used the rain-x stuff but apparently the dealer says because of some of the chemicals, it's messing up the senor. Besides using the blue stuff, what other washer fluid will be acceptable.

Don't understand why the sensor is picky, I don't care if the **** isn't working, because I would know if I'm out if I spray, and nothing happens. Damn truck electronics..lol. I'm glad I have a 2012....the newer models have a bigger dash, and I just want to keep it simple.

Well i used RainX and mine stopped spraying. I can hear what sounds like the motor trying but nothing comes out. I haven't tried messing with it, I did buy a new motor/pump for it just incase. One of these days, ill drain that thing and see what's going on.

Windex....didn't think about that
I might mix it with the normal blue washer stuff.

Just had the sensor replaced......I think I used RainX but I don't remember. Either way it was under warranty.

That's strange because I have used nothing but Rainx on my trucks for the past 10 years and have never had an issue with the indicator light.
