Just did mine this week as well in southern Ontario to spare my XD's from the winter crap. I've got the Bora 1.5" spacers that help with the stance.

I have to finish installing the rear 10.5” sterling rear axle and build rear control arms for it or I would.

Just wash it with soap and water. In winter it looks like crappola though with all the road salt and stuff.
