Wipers wont shut off

2013 ram 1500 driving back from the city windshield wipers came on now they won’t turn off and signal switch wont work now too I had left the drivers side window down and it rained but everything was working I drove for an hour stoped and ate got back in truck when things went south anybody have an idea where I should start looking?

This just happened to me today. Left the windows down last night and a thunderstorm came through. Here is the first thing to look at according to my internet searches. Well, I removed the combination switch and cleaned residue from the circuit board and reapplied dielectric grease where required. Reinstall it and CRAP, still doing the same thing.

Went to the dealership today and purchased a new combination switch for $167.00. I installed it in the parking area to see if that fixed the issue. It did, now everything is working. The parts guy said that these switches failing is common.
