Wow, I been out of the Car Stereo loop.

Please forgive my ignorance. My 2004 Ram died last week, so I wanted another Ram. Got a 2019 1500 Classic Tradesman, it was a fleet truck, doesn't have all the bells and whistles which I like. I want to upgrade the radio, but from what I see I just cant install any old unit, like my JVC I ripped out of my old truck. I got 2 amps and a pair of subs, I just want my Bluetooth music that sounds good, nothing else really. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, I would like to use my old single Din JVC, however also do not want to screw up any of the electronics that the radio is connected to. As per the Manual says its a 3.0 Uconnect Radio, as per the pics, you will see the steering wheel controls (which I never use) and the back up camera on the mirror, with the radio itself. If it is recommended I get one of the screen units I guess I would hope to find a simple one? Again sorry for my ignorance on this and thank you for any replies.

Crutchfield will have what you need. Yes its definitely not like it was in the 90's. I just added a 10" sub and to buy a few harnesses and a loc to wire the amp. At least the prices are not to bad

Your probably going to want to upgrade the radio to something newer that has not only Bluetooth but wireless AndroidAuto/CarPlay built in also. There is data interfaces made that allows the newer radios to interface with the vehicle electronics just like the OEM radios. Also you can probably move the back up camera to display on radio (bigger screen).
