X pipe or no x pipe?

I have a true dual exhaust on my truck from the cats back with 2.25" piping should I get a x pipe or leave it how it is? I did the 2.25" to keep the pressure in so I don't get any back pressure. I've heard people say I need it and others say I don't. I noticed a good amount of gain on the exhaust alone but didn't know if I would get more with the x pipe.

Yeah, you should add one to better the exhaust scavenging and smooth out any unwanted rasp you might have.

The xpipe will improve the exhaust flow by equalizing the pressure inside each side of the exhaust

Alright thanks! I just didn't know if i still needed with only 2.25" pipes. Cause the guy was telling me I didn't really need it with that size piping he said if I went bigger I would.

I was going to do that mod and my shop said to definitely add the x pipe.
