When I'm listening to Pandora or Apple Music it sounds really good. Great balance, surround is fantastic, clarity and bass are awesome. Switch over to SiriusXM and it totally changes. Balance moves forward, clarity not so good and overall the sound is much diminished. The audio settings don't change, but the sound changes a lot. Is this normal for XM radio? It didn't do that on my old 4Gen stereo. Any suggestions? I have the Alpine system with Infinity speakers.

Anything streaming off of the phone (YouTube, Pandora, Apple Music, etc) will have MUCH greater sound quality than XM radio. XM radio is barely better than FM radio, sound quality wise. This is why I'll never subscribe to XM. You didn't notice the sound quality difference as much on your old truck because the audio in that one sucked.
