looking for a aftermarket y-pipe for my 2002 4.7ltr since mine is leaking and has a lot of rot on it. Was wondering if there is anything for the 5.7 that will fit on the 4.7?

Most of the hemi guys just buy the Magnaflow y-pipe, which is just a universal merge collector. The hemi sizing is dual 2.5" in/single 3" out. Do you know what size inlet/outlet you need on your 4.7?

Is it just at the Y or is it up at the cats also? If memory serves me right I remember another thread where a leak was by the cats on another fella's truck.

Nobody makes a Bolton y-pipe for the hemi either. The only bolt-on y-pipe setups are the ones that are specific to certain longtube headers.

Ya there is no straight bolt on. The magna flow Y can be welded in no problem. I know my headers came with a bolt on Y pipe.

Coming from someone without cats you might wanna keep them or go hiflow if you do not like the stock ones. Without them you are gonna have to play around with piping, mufflers to fine a good note to the exhaust, along with either running nonfoulers or a custom tune to turn off the rear o2's. It can be done just takes some trail and error, also if you have to pass emmisions or a visual check you will fail.

You can always have an exhaust shop fab one up for you fairly cheap. I have posted a ton of pics and info on the one I had done. Came out awesome and wasnt too pricey. Do a search.
