Yes, the Y Pipe is reversible. Aluminized pipe will last a very long time, usually 8-10 years.
Find the model number for the borla setup that was on the daytonas. I had that catback for years when I first bought the truck til about a year or so ago and liked it a lot before I sold it and bought the xr1
It was only for hemi's
What's the reason behind people preferring a dual out muffler to getting a y pipe on a single out muffler?
It will still work with the 4.7 though. Pipe dia and lengths are the same regardless.
Because the exhaust is balanced in the muffler and split equally. Either way will work though. My advice....run two pipes with a crossover and dual race mufflers.....eliminate the Y coming off the cats completely.
I'm a little confused..how would you get two mufflers in there, going off of a single in?
No, not off one. You eliminate the Y Pipe from behind the cats, take straight pipes off them instead with H pipe into dual single inlet mufflers, then you can have your dual rear exhaust.
