I picked this up dirt cheap.

I kinda like it for going out of town and fishing or what not. it more than likely will stay on the truck. not the easiest thing to remove all the time. what do yall think? I think it looks cool on a lifted truck. I was also thinking about making a cargo rack to go on top of the topper with some lights

$500 it came off a company truck where I work. it has a manufacture sticker dating 3/27/13 inside of it. its a century brand but don't know the model. they went to a g2 flip cover and took these off.

I like it.. put some thick weather stripping under it where it mounts, just to raise it slightly off the box rails and to protect the paint along the bottom edge, cause they do shift a bit.

I'd like to have one
My neighbor had one on his mega cab with a rack on top of it that looked great
He had a hoist in his garage that he used to take it off by the rack and also stored it in the air out of the way

yea I don't have a garage to store it. it would just sit in my back yard on saw horses or something. plus being lifted it slightly harder to pickup with another person

I say go for it. You can't beat the price and the opening side windows are a nice upgrade.
Great find.

these be blank
Looks like a great top to build a custom camper setup inside for my short trips on weekends, especially with the tip out side windows to vent.

i don't know what they paid for it but i stole it. i actually scrapped some metal that was laying around the yard and recycled some batteries for a total of $460. so i truly paid ONLY $40 for it. this is a custom contractor series topper from what i can collect with the optional side windows not just the solid fiberglass windows. i want to install some led lights inside

If you like it that's cool
To me camper=old man

Enclosed area to take girl friend in the woods for a "drive" out weights the "old man" aspect of a topper...

This is my old 2007 ranger 33 Toyo MT's, 3inch BL, torsion keys maxed, and add a leaf in the rear, basically a 6inch lift, carring 800+ pounds of survey gear, stakes, paint, tripods etc etc all the time. Had to keep it lock becuase of the $30'000 GPS, and $20'000 Total Station in there all the time.

A topper with Lights can be made to look good, I went cheap and cap, lights and front lights I was in it for 150$ after rattle can painting it black!

I had one on my '06 Silverado, and have one on my dads '07 Sierra, love them.

I put a tonneau on my Ram, I would have rather went with a cap, but budget didn't allow.

I say leave it on!
