Yet another headlight build from RUSSLRAM

I sold the last set I made so I'm back at it again. Going a little different again.

DNA quad headlights(black with clear corners)
3" projector
Apollo 2.0 flat shroud
Halo switchback
Custom high beams.
HID 35w ballast 5k H1 bulbs

So I was able to open them up with only baking each light once for 7 min at 275*. Definitely was the easiest pair I have opened. Put the halos in the shrouds with epoxy. Now just trying to Mark and measure how much I have to trim off.

For some reason I thought that if I got the flat Apollo shroud it would cut down on trimming. Not the case. About the same amount of trimming as the g37 shroud.

Been dropping hints to the wife about a etching kit for Christmas. Hopefully this set will get some custom etched lenses!

What halos are you using?

110mm ones from Amazon. They are switchbacks. I think if I was going to go RGB I would go with a name brand.

I was thinking of using semi circle ones from Profile that are RGB, inside like you are doing....not to sure if I want to or not. Still need to figure out everything I need for ballasts and wiring to get everything working.

I think I am.going to go with the XB50 D2S bulbs and the XB55 ballasts. Then go from there for whatever else I need.

So I was able to play with my Christmas present a little bit. Since my wife got a cricut(pretty much a vinyl cutter/printer) I got to practice a little bit. Etching was pretty simple and basic. Took about five minutes with the airbrush.

What are you plan on etching on to the lens.

Might look at some designs. Not sure a want to put a picture or logo in it. Haven't seen any projectors with a spider web yet.

Etched a couple of designs into plexiglass. Trying to work out any kinks and do make a decision on the design I want in these projectors. Please anyone and everyone chime in with your opinions. I am really liking the cross hair second from the bottom.

The etchings are looking good. If you are going with the crosshairs, any of the top 3 would look good.
