Yikes, another HID question...sorry! :(

Hey guys, I read every post on here about HIDS. This is my first Ram, I've been a Ford guy for over a decade. Did 4 retrofits with infinity projectors and ballasts and to be honest, they looked and performed great, but I don't want to do another! lol.

This is a lease and I just want HIDs in the fogs. What do I need to get them working correctly with no error codes? I've read nothing, read a basic relay harness and read cancellors. Which is it?

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express with Quad Headlights.

Please, if you're currently running a PNP HID kit in your fogs only, and have NO problems, what are you using?

Thanks for the link, he certainly is! So I'm thinking I only need a 9006 relay harness and I should be good to go.

Nab the cap too. SOME of the 13+ have issues without it, its $12....cheap insurance.

It's amazing how finicky these trucks are! From what I read, some people had issues replacing the backup and license plate bulbs with LEDs, I did it with no problem fortunately. Now this, lol.

Yes, I hear that if the computer detects voltages or amps it can't identify, outside certain parameters, it will not be happy. These aren't trucks or cars anymore, they are rolling computers.

I'm not gonna bother with it. Just bought some 9005 bulbs and gonna shave down the tabs to make them fit.
