Your ACTUAL gas Mileage with a 5.7 Hemi

I recently read that the 2025 Ram Hemi will be designed to run on cow dung for fuel......the more I think about it.....I think it's bullchit!

Truck shows ~17.4 AVG on either "full syn" (from the oil change places) or PUP 5-30. When I ran PP 5-20, I got upto ~19.5 AVG.

Paper shows about 16 on full syn/Pennzoil ultra plat 5-30. Paper was showing 17.5-18.2 on Pennzoil Plat 5-20.

The Pennzoil changes have also been with a BilletTech catchcan, which caught almost a cup worth of oil in about 7k.

My truck is looking at 70k pretty soon (was going to say "knocking", but realized in this forum that would be a different thing...), and I did plugs around 55k, as someone told me to keep an eye on the MPG, and when it suddenly drops like a stone... They didn't know my wife's driving... Florida trip, she drove one leg, worst economy I've seen since I got the truck in '18. As in lowest I have gotten was 16 (truck), and that was a lot of short city. She did highway, and got 14 (truck)!

'16 Ram Rebel 5.7 with 3.92 rear, about 87k miles on it. Best I've ever gotten was ~18 mpg at 75 mph on flatlands (no hills etc, no wind). City is probably 15 mpg, but I never check. Towing a 3500 lb camper trailer I get ~10-11 mpg at 65/70 mph. I run 87 octane and oil is 5w-20 PUP.

Axle gear ratio is going to affect your MPG also I would.assume
