Hello fellow Hemi Heads,

I am thinking about putting E3's in my "16" 5.7. Ran E3's in my old "98" Silverado 5.7, put between 80k & 90k on that set without missing a beat.

So I am looking for your thoughts or experience if you have used them in your Hemi.

Thanks, Brian

Never used them in my Hemi but I have them in my Jeep Patriot 2.4l and no problems to report they just work and deliver the power and fuel efficiency that I'd expect from the engine. If they added or harmed anything vs. the OEM plugs it's so tiny I don't notice it.

They’re for lawnmowers and weed eaters, NGK for the Hemi, everything else is just a plug.
Copper for pre 2016 I think 2016 start the iridium plugs. NGK were factory.

If you are FBO with 6.4manifold and mild cam, would you still run coppers or go to iridium? Mine is an 09 but I have 2014 coils because I was told that have better spark.

What gap as well?

For performance, copper is the way to go, but with upgraded coils definitely use iridium. If you decide to spray it, go back to copper.

Coils are the same part number,no difference look them up ! Stay with factory recommendations for plugs.

E3 spark plugs work great in push / self-propelled lawn mowers.
Personally I wouldn't use them in any of my motor vehicles

I'm pretty sure I burn the same brand of gasoline in my lawn mower that I burn in my truck and my jeep. The jeep's got e3's, the truck's got less than 40k miles so whatever oem plugs, the lawn mower has an autolite platinum..

My opinion people assign way too much importance to differences among motor oil brands, spark plug brands, etc... we've got tuned-for-warranty-and-emissions street engines not F1 engines, I bet if somebody secretly changed out all your spark plugs and motor oil for a different brand every day of the week you'd never notice.

Iridium are best for performance and durability. Boosted in any form. But run a colder set for boost applications. Stock? Gap no more than +3. Boosted you’ll need an upgraded ignition system. With the better ignition you’ll burn up any plug in shorter time so the plug $ is all you. I like iridium for the RPM range.

Installed a set in my 2000 1500 and all of them burnt up before I had put 7000 miles on them. Never used them again, still have replacement set they sent me in toolbox!

So for a 2010, you would not recommend the Iridium plugs, but more basic Copper plugs?
