so are you saying you need this custom inlet tube for it to work?
Yes. It needs to be longer due to the body (including hood) being 1.5” higher and the motor staying in the same position. Not knowing if you are familiar with a Vararam or not…it seals to the underside of the hood. The increased inlet tube height is needed to get it high enough to make the seal with a body lift.

Nice Ram!
I have a vararam but didn't use a longer tube. I'll have to look into it. I lifted the setup as high as I could and still get some purchase area on the inlet. I'll have to look into a longer tube.

and thanks. I do love my ram, even if she's dirty 110% of the time.

I just called them up and they made it and sent it. I prob should remove the passenger side inner fenderwell an stick my head up in there and check the seal. Before the Zone 1.5”, I used some chalk on the rubber seal, closed the hood, reopened and checked the marks for fitment.

Thanks for the heads up. I just sent an e-mail to them.

here's their response:

We no longer stock that size hose
You can call Flex Tech in California
and special order it - 310-323-1801
The stock hose we use is 3.5"ID x 5.5"L

This is the part you need to order. It's sold by the inch.

So the mgr rolled a Nitto Ridge Grappler 35x12.5 out so I could get a visual. Im torn on sizes once again. He rolled out a 37 first as a joke.
I will say this, JBA rocks. I ordered yesterday, they delivered today. The quality is shockingly good. I’d mount these in a museum! Beefy, heavy, welds perfectly finished and a great enamel.
