Hi everyone! I finally got my truck back from the shop and everything was good until I discovered something.

Is it normal for the CV axle to angle up towards the wheel from driveshaft?? All lift kits I've seen is the other way around where the axle is going down towards the wheels...1e5e2742177075a902100c2970a9c5f0.jpgbbc6b665c8a917e1ed006449044ff491.jpg7b8988454e0b863585109bf6c1003bd0.jpg

Looks like you have 6" top hat spacers are you sure this is a 4" lift?

Yes. I hope they gave me 4 inches lol jk but yes. It is the 4 inch lift.

The top plate on the strut needs to be rotated 180 degrees and a preload spacer is installed for the height. You do not have preload spacers installed and it looks the top hat to a 6" kit which is 5". If you have 4" Steering knuckles you could have those crazy angles.

I don't know if that's a good angle lol 425e0fba970f9d5263cc06aeca5e8eda.jpgb1e0975abea4b30b2c774997ee0f24e7.jpg

That looks royally phacked up.
Your wheel is level but your UCA, your tie-rod and your CV-shafts are all pointing up like if your strut was compressed in full.
Why ? i'm not familiar with this bracket lifts at all but my instinct goes to check into that hub knucle where your UCA is connected, your tied rod and your CV shaft. that doesn't seem to be right knucle for your application, i could be wrong though, again i'm not into this kits one single bit so i have no idea what's goes with what :)

Take the truck back to the shop that installed such a thing before you mess something up badly.
Or maybe that's normal for that lift ? lol i'll be like what that heck just happened did i get my chit lowered 4" or what ?

Mine is 4 inches and doesnt have pre load spacer. I asked zone tech. And they said 4 inch will have a slight upward angle towards the wheel with CV shafts.... weird.... right? Lol 2d3b55fcb52bed7f03016877822a92d5.jpg

If they didn’t take apart the strut to install the preload spacer how did they rotate the top of the strut?
Is there a reason they didn’t install it?

@DANIEL AYALA Can you jack the front end up and take a picture? It almost looks like your struts are fully extended holding the lower control arm up. Im curious to see what kind of droop you have when not under load

I would.... but it's kinda snowing this week and I dont have a garage [emoji23][emoji23][emoji28][emoji28] but i did send pictures to Zone and they said everything looks normal. I might take it to another shop just to double check everything.

That looks downright fugly with the wheel turned out like that...
Sure looks like you could easily go up another 2"+ and actually improve the 1/2 shaft angle..

I’ve been looking at other trucks here and most have added Bilsteins in front set at either 0.7 or 1.4” additional lift. I sure wish you could post your fender measurements because the Bils might solve your issues.
